A week of maps: 5 Istanbul

A few years ago, actually I think it may be as many as15 years ago, I spent about five days in Istanbul.  The hotel was in the Galata area, near the Taksim Square - I think.  Every day started by crossing the bridge over the Golden Horn to see the amazing and various sights on the other side.  I spent the whole time wandering around in a daze, with very little idea of where I was in relation to any other place I had been.  This card would have been so useful!

  1. Yes it is, Beth. It arrived in the mail just a few weeks ago. It could also be used as a map for getting about, of course.

  6. Lucky you to have been in Instanbul. On one cruise, I went to Kusadasi which was nice. I was so weary of ruins by the time I got there, I spent my day at the baths and had a wonderful massage!
