Whiling my time away
Life is busy at the moment but nevertheless I am having my fair share of soaking up café culture. Not in Berlin, unfortunately, but we have visitors and what better way of spending some time.
The picture shows Café Leysieffer on the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin, now once more the capital of Germany. The café was founded in 2909 as a pastry shop.

Streetside cafes in Europe always look so much nicer than here :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sunshine!
I love streetside cafes. There are some here, but with our heat and humidity -- forget it! Happy PFF!
ReplyDeleteWhen my middle daughter Karen was senior high school age she went to Germany for a year to finish her last year of high school. One of her favorite things to do was go to the coffee shops like the one above.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful café. Around New Year we were in Berlin and enjoyed a lot of these cafés. Happy PFF.
