Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan
Two cards from Sun Moon Lake in central Taiwan, both sent within weeks of each other in 2009, both from 17 year-old girls, and both with identical stamps.
Sun Moon Lake is so-called because one side of the lake looks like a sun, and the other side looks like a moon. In the lake is an island which was largely destroyed in the 1999 earthquake. The area is both beautiful scenically and supports a great range of wildlife.

Sun Moon Lake, Nantou County, Taiwan 555

i have met a blogging friend in Taiwan and am really keen to go visit there one day. This place looks like just my kind of place and i'd love to visit there! I love the blue mountains in that area of the world.
